Property: Resources on Lexis and Westlaw

A guide outlining materials available through the Capital Law Library to assist students with first-year Property classes.

Introduction

As a Capital University law student, you have access to two enormous and powerful legal research and information databases: Lexis Plus and Westlaw Precision. These two databases are essentially searchable platforms of the collected published legal works of LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters, the two largest legal publishers in America, and are a cornerstone of research-heavy law practice. You will study their use and functionality at great length in LARW, but they bear mentioning here in that since they function as a platform for these companies' law titles, a wide variety of subject-specific treatises, practice guides, and other resources are easily available.

This page compiles some significant Ohio-specific and National resources on Property available on Lexis Plus and Westlaw Precision.
